Unit 8
Today we are going to continue working with
quantifiers. Let's remember what we learnt about SOME, ANY, HOW MUCH, HOW MANY in previous levels.
GRAMMAR
SOME (algunos,
There are some new people in my English class. (plural contable)
I bought some new shoes. (plural contable)
There is some milk in the fridge. (incontable)
Would you like some tea?
Do you want some soup?
I’ve got a lot of apples. Do you want some?
- También se usa some para pedir algo. Específicamente, algo incontable o plural.
Could you give me some books to read on
vacation?
Can I have some coffee?
Could you give me some help with this?
ANY (ningún, ninguna, nada de, algun, algunos)
Any se
There isn’t any juice in the fridge.
There aren’t any good films on TV.
Are there any good restaurants in this city?
Do you have any money?
