UNIT 14

In this class we are going to learn how to say the date in English.

But first let’s remember the ordinal numbers:

Remember!

(Los meses del año siempre empiezan con mayúscula)

(Generalmente dividimos el año en dos partes y lo decimos como dos números distintos 1984: diecinueve – ochenta y cuatro)

Let’s say the date

I was born in 1981(nineteen, eighty one) – Nací en 1981.

Cuando hablamos de años usamos la preposición in.

I was born on 18^th December, 1981 – Nací el 18 de diciembre de 1981.

Cuando hablamos de una fecha precisa utilizamos la preposición on.
