TODAY IS WEDNESDAY THE 8th OF APRIL 2020
GOOD AFTERNOON PEOPLE!
How is it going?
In this class we are going to learn about PAST CONTINUOUS
Usamos past continuous para hablar de acciones que estaban en progreso en un punto específico en el pasado.





General structure
Affirmative form:
pronoun/subject + was/were + verb –ing + complement.
Negative form:
pronoun/subject + wasn’t/weren’t + verb –ing + complement.
Interrogative form
Was/were + pronoun/subject + verb –ing +complement + ?

TASK 1:
Complete the sentences. Use the verb in brackets and the past continuous
1. Judy __________________________ (make) dinner.
2. Amy and Zoe __________________________ (not watch) a film at the cinema.
3. You and Jack__________________________ (not wait) at the bus stop.
4. I __________________________  (feeling) very cold
5. You __________________________  (tidy) your room.
6. It __________________________  (rain) very heavily.
7. The traffic __________________________ (move) very slowly.
8. William __________________________ (not send) an email to Jamie.

TASK 2:
Look at the pictures. Write a negative sentence and an affirmative sentence. Use the past continuous.
